MARCH BOOK REPORT:
We are reading Historical Fiction books this month. A historical fiction book is a book that takes place in the past. It might have real people or events in it.
The main elements do not usually contain fantasy or science fiction (no Fairy Tales or Red Pyramid). However, if the character travels back in time to experience a certain time period, that would be fine. The book needs to be at least 100 pages and be close to the students reading level (no Magic Tree House books-they are too easy).
Please try and find a book as soon a possible so you can start reading, please have it checked off by the teacher by Monday March 3rd (the 7th at the latest)!
The book report will be to make a “Wanted Poster” for one of the main characters. In this poster you will describe the character; what do they look like, act like, what do they do? You also need to describe what they are wanted for. It does NOT have to be a crime; they could be wanted for being brave, or for being a good friend.
Wanted posters also have a drawing of the person.
The poster can be on an 8 ½ by 11 paper or 11 by 19 paper but not bigger than that.
It is due on Tuesday, March 29th.
